Two women standing together on a lawn in front of a blooming white flowering bush, smiling at the camera. The older woman has short brown hair, glasses, and is dressed in a gray t-shirt and jeans. The younger woman has shoulder-length blonde hair and is wearing a black top and black pants. The scene is set during the daytime with natural sunlight, and houses and trees are visible in the background.

Our Mission

We are a mother–daughter team dedicated to preserving the forgotten histories of Italian Americans. Through archival newspaper research, genealogy records, and historical storytelling, the Italian American Stories Podcast is a history-focused storytelling podcast that brings immigrant journeys, unsolved mysteries, and everyday family legacies back to life.

Each week, we uncover real stories from the archives. Stories that shaped communities across America but were nearly lost to time. What began as a shared love of heritage has grown into a living record of Italian American history.

Based in Colorado, we uncover stories from communities across the United States, with a special focus on overlooked Italian American histories in the American West.

What We Do…

• Research forgotten Italian American newspaper stories
• Explore genealogy and immigration history
• Interview modern Italian Americans
• Preserve community history through storytelling
